La Serenissima

Favourites were: Murano (and in fact all the glass objects you can buy in most Venice shops), food (like Lasagne al forno, Seppie alla Veneziana - cuttlefish in a sauce of its own ink with polenta), water taxi ride from and to the airport, the Palazzo Ducale was our cultural highlight and the last thing we did on the last day was a ride on a gondola. What an inspiring place (these are not our pictures).
